GENERAL INFORMATION
When should we arrive?
Please arrive 15–30 minutes before your tour begins. This allows time to complete the participation waiver and receive your safety equipment. For events, we recommend arriving at least 30 minutes in advance. Bringing signed waivers will speed up check-in.
Electric vehicle charging
We offer four EV charging stations (maximum 32 kWh per outlet). Charging is managed via the Wattif app.
We are a larger group. Do you offer discounts?
For larger groups, we recommend booking a private tour. This allows flexibility in scheduling and tailoring the experience. Popular combinations include the Sauna Ritual, Adventure Tour and underground dinner. Private bookings are priced at a minimum equivalent to 8 participants. Additional guests are charged at the regular ticket rate.
I missed downloading the photos
Photos are automatically deleted every night at 00:00 and cannot be recovered. We recommend taking your own photos during your visit.
How do I reach the mine without a car?
A regional bus operates between Borlänge and Ludvika, stopping in Tuna Hästberg. Visit www.dalatrafik.se for schedules. The mine is located approximately 1 km (0.6 miles) uphill from the bus stop. Taxi or rental car are recommended alternatives. For selected events, shuttle buses may be available when booking tickets.

Is the mine weather dependent?
No. Activities take place underground and are protected from weather. Temperature ranges from 0–4°C (32–39°F) year-round.
Is the mine open year-round?
Yes, with more frequent departures during June–September.
When is the mine most beautiful?
Seasonal variation is limited, but ice formations are typically largest between January and May.
Security
How physically demanding is the experience?
All experiences take place 80 metres (262 ft) underground. Guests must descend and ascend via stairs, walking routes or climbing sections. This is comparable to a moderate hike in uneven terrain. Guests weighing over 120 kg (265 lbs) must contact us prior to booking.
How does safety work on the Adventure Tour?
After signing the waiver, you will be fitted with helmet, headlamp, harness and Y-lanyard. You will then receive a safety briefing and complete a short practice course.
Can we visit without a guide?
All underground experiences are conducted with at least two guides per group.
Why are there weight limits?
For tours requiring harness equipment, the fall arrest system may not function correctly below 40 kg (88 lbs) including clothing. The upper safety limit is 120 kg (265 lbs). Weight limits are strictly enforced for safety reasons.
Is there an age restriction?
Children under 15 must be accompanied by a legal guardian. One adult may supervise a maximum of two children.
I am pregnant. Can I participate?
We do not recommend participation from week 30 onwards. For tours involving harness equipment, participation is not recommended from week 16 onwards.
Why are weight limits mentioned on tours without climbing equipment?
The descent and ascent are physically demanding. Only the Adventure Tour has a strict 120 kg maximum requirement, but all tours require general mobility and fitness.
What are the risks?
The mine is a natural and historic industrial environment comparable to mountain terrain. All tours are guided, and guests must follow safety instructions.
Can I leave the tour early?
Yes. There are exit points along the tour. Inform your guide if you wish to stop or skip certain elements.
Purchase, gift card & cancellation
I can’t find my tickets
Please check your spam/junk folder and search your inbox for “Adventuremine” or “ticket.” Tickets are normally sent within minutes after purchase. Also confirm that payment has been processed. If payment was successful but you still cannot find your tickets, email info@adventuremine.se and we will resend them.
Do I need to book in advance?
Advance booking is strongly recommended as many tours sell out. If availability remains, tickets may also be purchased on site.
We are ill and need to cancel
Event tickets are non-refundable in accordance with Swedish legislation. The standard 14-day withdrawal period for online purchases does not apply to event tickets. If you purchased cancellation protection, you may be eligible for a refund or rescheduling according to its terms. Please refer to your ticket for details.

How do I use my gift card?
