A memorable walk down into the mine

Join a calmer yet atmospheric walk into the mountain, where history lingers in the walls and darkness is replaced by warm light. The experience is designed for families and for those who want adventure without climbing or harnesses. Together with our guides, you take the stairs down into the old personnel shaft – the same path miners once walked to their daily work.

Once underground, a walk through tunnels and rock chambers awaits, past underground lakes and into the Great Hall. Here, in the glow of lit torches, you experience the vastness and grandeur of the mine – a mighty underground chamber where time seems to stand still.

During the visit, we offer coffee and fika in a heated rock chamber – the old dynamite storage at 80 metres depth – a memorable moment deep inside the mountain.
